To compare sizes, colloid CBD nanotechnology (the type Active CBD uses) has particle diameters of less than 1000 nm, while the average human cell is approximately 25,000 nm in diameter.
What is encapsulation?
It is commonly discussed by scientific professionals that encapsulated CBD water soluble formulas are some of the most fascinating forms of nano CBD oil products regarding biological delivery. To put it simply, the CBD molecules are packaged inside a “bubble” which consists of a hydrophilic (water-like) exterior with a hydrophobic (fat-like) interior. Micelles contain a single layer membrane (shell), but most are normally too large and unstable to be used in CBD Oil water soluble products. Alike to the membrane configuration of plant and animal cells, Liposomes consist of a bilayer membrane with water packaged inside. However due to a water interior, these are limited in their ability to deliver cannabinoids.
Colloid Nano CBD formulas
The diameter of micelle for colloids technology is within the nanometer size range, between 1-1000 nm, producing a combination of benefits from both technologies. These colloids consist of a single membrane encapsulating an oil-like hydrophobic interior. Colloids are considered to have a better ratio of the oil interior to surfactant ratio compared to lecithin based liposomes. Which implies that since this tincture is water soluble, more CBD can be packaged inside while requiring fewer ingredients using colloids. This formulation is currently the most advanced and effective CBD water soluble drops option on the market. What is Broad Spectrum CBD? 
Generally speaking CBD products will fall into one of three categories of how they are made between Full Spectrum, Broad Spectrum, and CBD isolate. Vegetable Glycerin
Vegetable Glycerin is an odorless, sweet syrup like liquid and a type of carbohydrate called a polyol or sugar alcohol and that is made by heating vegetable fats under pressure or together with a strong alkali. Medium Chain Triglycerides
More commonly known as its abbreviated form of MCT oil, this naturally occurring substance is found and derived from both palm kernel oil, coconut oil, and olive oil.
